Engaging Your Guests
We've pioneered several new ways of making your event the unique once in a lifetime event it should be. Here is a sample list of some of the games we can use at your function, please inform us of which ones you prefer for your individual event:
Kissing Game
Over the years we have noticed a trend of brides and grooms wishing to have their guests earn that famous kiss during the dinner portion of their reception.
Bride & Groom Trivia
In order to get the bride and groom to kiss a guest must begin to "tink" his/her glass. Your DJ will then ask the guest a trivia question (which will be provided by the couple) based on the bride and groom. For example, where did the bride and groom first meet? Name the first place they went to on a date, etc. As the questions will be provided by the bride and groom they can be as classy or as racy as they desire. We find that this is a highly effective way of making this event very personable. Guests walk away at the end of the evening feeling that they have a greater sense of who the couple is as they embark on their new lives together.
Name that tune
Once again in order to get the bride and groom to kiss, guests are instructed that we will be playing a game. Guests are instructed that if they wish to see the bride and groom kiss they must first "tink" their glass and be prepared to provide a number between 1 and 247. After a number is chosen I then turn to someone else i.e. the bride or groom and ask them for a second number between 1 and 19. What we have chosen is CD # ? and Track # ?. Without assistance from anyone else they are required to provide either the title or artist of the random song. As a variation on any of these games we can also require that anyone who fails to guess the title or artist be made to kiss another guest of the bride or grooms choosing. We find that this game can not only be quite humorous, it also gives us the opportunity to get the guests involved by potentially playing much livelier music prior to the dance floor being opened.
